This livestream learning event, hosted by The Ivey Academy, will explore the barriers limiting the inclusion of neurodistinct individuals in the workforce, unpack misconceptions about the correlation between support needs and skill levels, and discuss how leaders can reimagine job roles and structures to create more inclusive and productive organizations. We'll be joined by expert guests: Rob Austin, Professor of Innovation and Information Systems and Evolution of Work Chair at Ivey; Thorkil Sonne, Founder, Specialisterne and the Specialisterne Foundation; Moish Tov, CEO, JoyDew; and Denise Arnold, Founding Principal, Denise R. Hayden Woodley

Thursday, May 9 from 2-3 p.m. ET

Go back to class with Prof. Hayden Woodley as he takes the group through a virtual case about inclusive leadership. In this 60-minute session you will: discuss how barriers to performance impact organizational success; improve your confidence in your ability to ‘step in’ when you see prejudice and/or discrimination; and develop your ability to gather information to improve your decision-making skills.

NOTE: a one page case will be sent in advance of the session.
