Global Ivey Day 2017 – Power Lunch

In celebration of the eighth annual Global Ivey Day, join us for the Power Lunch event targeted to experienced Ivey alumni and their guests on Thursday, May 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Connect with fellow alumni and friends at this special event. Global Ivey Day is an excellent opportunity to reconnect, network and celebrate Ivey Business School’s nine decades of business education leadership and what it means to be an Ivey grad.

Rebecca McKillican, HBA '02

Rebecca McKillican is the President & CEO of, one of Canada's largest online eCommerce companies specializing in health, wellness, beauty and baby. Before becoming part of the team, Rebecca worked for the New York City-based private equity firm Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts (KKR) within the retail and consumer group. Rebecca has also worked at McKinsey & Company. Rebecca holds an HBA from Ivey Business School, a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Western University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar. She's a passionate online shopper, a mom to three young children. She loves shopping for green and natural products at to keep herself and her family healthy and well.

Omar DhallaOmar Dhalla, MBA '07

Omar was the first person on the ground in Ontario for both Element AI and Real Ventures. In his role with Element AI, he is focused on bringing AI-first solutions to corporate partners. Omar started his career with Accenture and McKinsey, then co-founded and operated early-stage ventures in both the packaged goods and media industries. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western Ontario and teaches in University of British Columbia’s EMBA program.

Michael LiebrockMichael Liebrock, MBA '07

Michael Liebrock is Managing Partner of Acasta Enterprises Inc. (AEI), a TSX listed asset manager which he helped found at its IPO in 2015 (TSX:AEF). Michael works with portfolio companies and investment partners on investments, mergers and acquisitions and other key strategic issues. Prior to joining AEI, Michael was Managing Director and Partner at Acasta Capital, the merchant bank and advisory firm that he founded and launched alongside his partners in 2011. At Acasta Capital, Michael managed relationships and transactions with leading clients and investors, executing complex and bespoke deals including a number of carve-out transactions. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group in Toronto, New York, and Sydney as a core member of the Corporate Development and Organization practice areas, where he led and managed mergers and business transformations. Michael previously developed and executed public policy agendas and campaigns for senior members of Canadian Federal government, as well as the Government of Ontario. Michael attended the University of Western Ontario for undergraduate studies, and the Richard Ivey School of Business for his MBA. Michael has earned a wealth of transaction, strategy, and leadership experience working on numerous investment mandates.

TJ FloodTJ Flood, HBA '95, MBA '98

TJ Flood is the Senior Vice-President, Consumer Brands Division, Canadian Tire Corporation. In this newly created division, TJ and his team are responsible for driving the private brand portfolio across the Canadian Tire family of companies. This new division will build on the success of our existing private label brands and acquire new brands that will strengthen our core businesses.

Previously, TJ was the Senior Vice-President of Marketing at Canadian Tire and managed a broad portfolio that included strategic marketing functions, digital and the Canadian Tire flyer. Thanks to TJ, Canadian Tire reinvigorated its brand with the introduction of "Canada's Store" and the "We All Play for Canada" marketing campaigns. TJ has also held various other positions at Canadian Tire, such as Vice-President of Merchandising, where he ran the successful Living division. Prior to Canadian Tire, he acquired significant packaged goods experience by holding senior positions at Cadbury Adams USA.

TJ holds an Honours degree in business and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
