It is exciting times at Western University for Entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship has become an integral part of driving growth in the Canadian economy. From humble beginnings within the Ivey Business School, we are excited to share its tremendous growth at Ivey and Western University.
Ivey Professor Eric Morse is the Executive Director of the Pierre L. Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship and the Special Advisor to the President on Entrepreneurship at Western University. Since coming to Ivey as its first dedicated professor in entrepreneurship in 2002, Eric has been at the forefront of driving entrepreneurship across campus.
During the past two years, Eric has been working with the Western Entrepreneurship Steering Team (WEST) to establish a vision and mission for entrepreneurship, engaging faculties from across campus.
Ivey has secured a reputation in Canada of being a leader in growth strategy and scaling a business. With our high growth programs with KPMG Enterprise (QuantumShiftTM), and the Business Development Bank of Canada (Growth Driver Program), Ivey assists hundreds of entrepreneurs each year, who are creating value and jobs across Canada. Eric will share some of our key learnings from this area of entrepreneurship.
