Divyansh Ojha, HBA ’20, named 2025 Emerging Leader Recipient - Ivey Alumni Achievement Award

Divyansh (Divy) Ojha, HBA ’20
In celebration of Global Ivey Day, the Ivey Alumni Network Board presents the Ivey Alumni Achievement Awards to recognize the amazing accomplishments of our alumni community. Our 2025 Emerging Leader award recipient, Divyansh (Divy) Ojha, HBA ’20, will be honoured on May 8 at the GID Power Lunch at TIFF Lightbox in Toronto.
Divyansh (Divy) Ojha, HBA ’20, Founder and CEO of Odd Bunch, has been named the 2025 recipient of Ivey’s Emerging Leader Award – a new category within the Ivey Alumni Achievement Awards program. This new award recognizes an exceptional graduate from the past five years who has already made remarkable strides in their career and community.
“I’m honoured and humbled to receive the inaugural Emerging Leader Award,” said Ojha. “Odd Bunch started as a simple idea to make food more affordable and reduce waste — to have it recognized by my alma mater in this way is deeply meaningful. I’m grateful to be part of a community that celebrates purpose-driven work, and this award only fuels the drive to keep pushing boundaries.”
A global citizen who lived across half a dozen countries before adulthood, Ojha pursued business at Ivey as a gateway into finance but found his true calling in purpose-driven entrepreneurship. As the Founder & CEO of Odd Bunch, he has built Canada’s fastest-growing subscription service for cosmetically imperfect or surplus produce, diverting nearly 30-million pounds of food from landfills while saving customers millions on their grocery bills. Since its launch, Odd Bunch has grown into one of the country’s largest direct-to-consumer grocery services, amassing tens of thousands of active weekly subscribers and a purpose-driven community of nearly 100,000 engaged followers.
Ojha’s entrepreneurial journey began while attending Ivey, where he recognized the mismatch between the staggering amount of food waste in Canada and the growing issue of food insecurity. At just 19 years old, he launched FoodFund, an online grocery platform that rapidly scaled during the pandemic. He later spun it into Odd Bunch, a profitable business that continues to expand, with operations in Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, and Alberta and plans to go coast to coast by the end of 2025.
Through Odd Bunch, Ojha not only helps Canadians save on groceries, but also supports local farmers, reduces food waste, and integrates sustainability into every aspect of operations. The company has donated over 6.5-million pounds of fresh produce to families in need in 2024 alone, partners with over 100 farmers nationwide, and prioritizes sustainability through upcycled packaging and carbon-conscious delivery practices.
Despite leading a rapidly growing organization with hundreds of employees, Ojha remains hands-on, from packing boxes and making deliveries to responding to customers on social media. His work ethic, leadership, and commitment to impact make him a standout example of an Ivey graduate using business as a force for good.
In addition to his entrepreneurial success, Ojha has demonstrated a deep commitment to community service, from volunteering at the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple as a Youth Leader to supporting health awareness initiatives in rural India through Sevanjali Hospital and Research Centre.
A trailblazer in sustainable business and social innovation, Ojha exemplifies what it means to lead with integrity, passion, and purpose. The Ivey community is proud to recognize his contributions with this well-deserved honour.
